What to ask once you've read it
Four questions for the seller of a used Audi.
- 1Automatic gearbox oil
For S tronic and tiptronic, the manufacturer recommends oil changes at set intervals. Look for them in the history or ask for the invoice.
- 2Timing belt
Many TDI and some TFSI engines have a timing belt, with an interval in kilometres and years. Ask when it was changed and ask for proof.
- 3Years without records
A gap in the history isn't automatically a problem, but it is explained with invoices, not words.
- 4The mileage at each visit
Each service record has its own mileage. The values must rise from one visit to the next.
